Summary: Atheists are...honestly okay. Like any religion, you believe what you believe. Or in this case, don't believe. It doesn't stop filmmakers from trying to prove otherwise though.

History: Katherine Winter has spent a good chunk of her life proving religious beliefs wrong via science. But now, she's been invited to the quiet Louisiana town of Haven to investigate a bizarre string of disasters that have literally plagued the place. As it turns out, the town is suffering exact replicas of the 10 plagues of Egypt, all because of a little girl known as Loren McConnell. Katherine can only try to explain the problems away for so long. But why is this really happening?

Notable Kills: Any time the plagues cost a life is rather unusual, such as the hordes of locusts.

Final Fate: As it turns out, all of Haven is a Satanic cult, and they have been scheming to destroy Loren because she is actually an agent of God, using the plagues to flush them out. Katherine is saved by Loren when the fire plague offs the survivors, but as it turns out, the woman got impregnated by one of the cultists, and now carries the Antichrist.

Powers/Abilities: The plagues are, for all intents and purposes, unstoppable.

Weakness: Only one who has turned their back on God can stop Loren.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-The many plagues may seem to be horrific and unstoppable...until you realize that all of it is being unleashed upon some deserving individuals. Then, it's not so bad. Just try not to get involved and let the Lord do his/her/its thing, m'kay?

Trivia: -Most of filming in Barton Rouge was done near an abandoned Walmart building.

-Filming was brought to a screeching halt for a bit in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina swooped in.
